JT6 Academy ("JT6", "we", "us") operates jiu-jitsu academies in Toronto and Markham and websites including jt6.ca. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you interact with our website, advertising, and lead forms (including Meta Instant Forms for Kids BJJ and other programs).

Who this covers

Parents and guardians who inquire about Kids BJJ or other programs, and adults who inquire about themselves, through our website, ads, Instant Forms, or related signup flows.

Depending on the form or page, we may collect:

Email address

Phone number

Child's age (for kids programs)

Location preference (Toronto or Markham), program interest, and other details you choose to provide

Basic technical data such as pages visited or ad click identifiers when you use our website or ads

How we use your information

We use this information to:

Respond to your inquiry and contact you about trial classes, schedules, and membership by email, phone, or SMS/text

Book and follow up on free trials and visits

Operate our academies and improve our services and ads

We do not sell your personal information.

Where we store and process information

Lead and contact information may be stored in systems we use to run the academy and follow up on inquiries, including Gymdesk (membership / CRM) and Zapier (to move form submissions into our tools). Advertising platforms such as Meta may also receive information you submit through Instant Forms according to their own policies. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, but no online transmission is fully secure.

Sharing

We share personal information only as needed to operate our business: with service providers who process data for us (such as Gymdesk, Zapier, hosting, and email/SMS tools), when required by law, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Children

For Kids BJJ and similar programs, we collect a child's age and related details from a parent or guardian so we can place the child in an appropriate class and contact the parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children for marketing without a parent or guardian.

Your choices — opt out and deletion

You can opt out of marketing emails or SMS by using unsubscribe links where provided, or by contacting us. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you (or your child) by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention needs (for example, waivers or membership records).
